HEALTH, as the priority of the government in its policies, allocation of resources and the efficient implementation of universal health care, has been made more urgent by our country’s very poor CoVid response.

 

We have sponsored and co-authored laws in the previous Congress on public health, most notable is the free check up covering blood chemistry and sugar once a year for every Filipino, increased in bed capacities in various hospitals and the investigation on PhilHealth and the disposition of its fund. We're the only party list who has focus on public health for the past 3 years.

PHL TO GAIN PHP4.3 TRILLION IN ECONOMIC VALUE IF STOCK TRADING TAX IS LOWERED – ANAKALUSUGAN

AnaKalusugan Party-list Rep. Ray T. Reyes believes lowering taxes on stock transactions could bring in 4.3 trillion pesos in economic value and attract more foreign investors in the country. "Ayon sa aming mga pag-aaral, inaasahang 4.3 trillion pesos in economic value ang darating sa Pilipinas kapag ibinaba ang tax rates sa stock market transactions," Reyes said. "These are funds that could greatly contribute to public health investing to ensure that the Filipino people is healthy and has access to adequate healthcare services," he added.

ANAKALUSUGAN PARTYLIST WANTS PHILHEALTH TO PREVENT ACCUMULATION OF UNPAID CLAIMS
